COMPANY DINNERS
Having an award ceremony? End of project treat? Christmas Party? A shin dig for the sake of it? Having a great close up magician is an ideal way to make sure your event goes with a swing - and most importantly, gives you the chance to take all the credit!
Choosing the right entertainment is important though. Many of your guests may have seen a magician before. You need one that will be different, fresh, exciting, funny and captivating. Alan isn't your average 'nice smile in a corporate suit' type magician - he does wear a suit, but guarantees to inject fun and amazement in to your evening!
Reception is best left for people to meet and greet, take a canape, and generally schmooze. Although most magicians won't tell you this - it really isn't a good time for magic. Just at the 'magical' part of the trick inevitably a waitress or friend will come along and everyone will turn away to take a volevant or say hello - right at the crucial moment! Performances are ideal throughout the meal - before and after each course - everyone gets a chance to see some top notch stunning live magic, under their nose and in a relaxed environment. Also, as they are seated (and contained) it's much easier to keep a track of who has (and who hasn't) been entertained.
Then, after coffee, how about a 20/30 minute stand up performance with magic, comedy and mind reading? People usually only get to see magicians like David Blaine and Derren Brown on TV - now your guests will get to see it only inches away with their very own personal interactive magic show.
