The Wedding Magician
Thinking of a new and interesting way to entertain your guests on your special day?
Well, you've heard of the Wedding Singer? Here's the Wedding Magician!
There are 3 periods in your wedding when you can have a magician - have a look at MAGICIAN WEDDING for a full rundown or see below for a few details and see which one suits you. The most popular, and always the most successful, is during the Wedding Breakfast.
"I perform at one period of the wedding only - I find this has the biggest impact and leaves your guests wanting more. I genuinely think it's a mistake when other magicians perform at more than one period." Alan Hudson
WEDDING BREAKFAST
By far the best time to have magic at your wedding. Close up magic between courses is a lovely touch make the long meal time more entertaining. Alan will entertain each table with some fantastic sleight of hand, table top magic. All very personal and a great talking point - especially good if you have some guests sat on tables who don't know each other - an excellent ice breaker. This is the most popular time for the magic, and always the most successful, as no one misses out on the entertainment (no one has to go off for photographs etc). Usual running time - 2 hours.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Often the photographer can take a long time setting up each shot. Alan can entertain your guests (who are usually just waiting to eat at this point) with close up magic as they are having drinks and waiting their turn to be photographed with the happy couple. Usual running time - 90 mins.
Note - Not as effective as the Wedding Breafast but another popular time for the magic. In this period not everyone will get to see the magic as people move around and it's impossible to keep track of every individual. Also, smaller groups will see the magic each time so the impact is always lessened.
EVENING RECEPTION
As your evening guests arrive Alan will mix and mingle and help the evening 'do' start with style. Whilst the guests have the buffet and the low music plays - often best earlier on before too many drinks have been downed! Usual running time - 90 mins/2 hours (depending on the number of guests).
