10 Incredible Corporate Event Venues in the UK

I’ve performed at hundreds of venues over the years. Some traditional, some unusual and a few that are completely unforgettable.

When it comes to corporate event venues, the venue can really elevate the whole experience. It’s not just about having a room and some chairs. It’s about creating a memory.

So here are some of my favourite corporate venues across the UK. A few of these I’ve performed at regularly, others I’ve only been to once or twice. But all of them have that magic ingredient…. something special that makes people say, “That was a brilliant night.”

Corporate Event Venues

1. The Magic Circle – London

Let’s start with my personal favourite. The Magic Circle in London. Not just because I’m a proud member of The Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star, but because it’s genuinely one of the most unique and atmospheric venues you’ll ever step into.

From the moment your guests walk through the doors, they know they’re in for something different. The building is packed with magical history, from Houdini memorabilia to hidden performance spaces. I’ve performed here for countless corporate events and it always delivers. The venue itself creates a sense of curiosity and wonder before I even say a word.

If you’re looking for a London venue that’s intimate, impressive and genuinely different, this is the one.

2. The Deep – Hull

You might not expect to find a great corporate event venues at the bottom of the sea, but that’s exactly what The Deep in Hull offers. It’s a striking aquarium and a well-known architectural landmark. Even if you’ve never been inside, you’ve probably seen the building before.

I’ve had the pleasure of performing here and trust me, when you’re doing magic surrounded by sharks and stingrays, people pay attention. It’s got a unique atmosphere that works really well for evening events or client entertainment. Plus, it’s one of the few venues where your guests might say, “Did that fish just wink at me?” between tricks.

For something genuinely memorable in Hull, The Deep is a brilliant option.

3. The Monastery – Manchester

Yes, an actual monastery. This beautifully restored Grade II listed building in Manchester is one of the most impressive venues I’ve worked in. High vaulted ceilings, gothic arches and stunning acoustics. It has the atmosphere of a cathedral with all the practical touches you need for a corporate event.

I’ve done after dinner shows here for awards nights and conferences, and it always feels like a big occasion. The venue does a lot of good in the community too, which adds something extra to the experience. It’s inspiring without being over the top.

If you’re planning something special in Manchester, this place really delivers.

4. Ashton Gate Stadium – Bristol

Football stadiums might not sound like glamorous venues, but Ashton Gate is a real exception. It’s modern, spacious and ideal for large-scale corporate events. You get that sense of occasion, especially if your guests are sports fans, but the facilities are top notch.

I’ve performed here for end-of-year parties and the layout works brilliantly. There are multiple rooms for different parts of the evening, so you can go from conference to dinner to entertainment without moving venues. It’s also easy to access and has loads of parking, which always helps.

For a flexible and impressive venue in Bristol, it’s a solid choice.

5. The Bodleian Library – Oxford

The Bodleian Library is one of those corporate event venues that feels instantly special. The architecture, the history, the atmosphere. It’s all there. I’ve performed for corporate audiences in Oxford quite a bit and whenever an event is held in a venue like this, you can feel the energy shift. People are more alert, more excited and more engaged.

It’s also great for those events where you want your company to be associated with tradition, prestige or a bit of old-school grandeur. The Harry Potter connection doesn’t hurt either.

If you’re hosting something high-end in Oxford, this venue is a real showstopper.

This is one of Leeds’ most iconic venues and it’s brilliant for events that need to impress a big crowd. It’s modern and well-equipped, but you’ve also got the historic exhibits dotted around the building, which adds a bit of character. It’s hard not to be impressed when there’s a 16th century sword mounted on the wall behind the bar.

I’ve done corporate shows here and it’s a great space to work in. The acoustics are good, the staff know what they’re doing and the venue is right on the waterfront, which makes it a lovely spot for summer events.

One of the best venues in Yorkshire for sure.

If you’re looking at corporate event venues in the North and you’re after something modern, artistic and just a little bit different, The Baltic Centre in Newcastle is well worth a look. St George’s Hall is an absolute giant of a venue. It’s one of the finest neoclassical buildings in Europe and it’s right in the centre of Liverpool. Inside, it’s every bit as impressive as the outside. Marble pillars, massive chandeliers and one of the most dramatic rooms I’ve ever performed in.

This is the kind of place that makes guests sit up a little straighter and take notice. It’s perfect for award nights, gala dinners or anything where you want to create a sense of importance. Liverpool’s always a fun place to perform, and venues like this take it to the next level.

A Liverpool landmark that deserves its reputation.

When you’re looking at corporate event venues, this one should be definitely on the list if you’re looking to have your event in the Midlands. The Athena is an old Art Deco cinema that’s been converted into a really impressive event space. It’s bold, stylish and full of character, with high ceilings, curved balconies and that classic 1930s look. It works brilliantly for large corporate parties or product launches where you want to make a statement.

I’ve been on stage here and the setup is fantastic. The lighting is spot on and the space has a really immersive feel. It’s also one of the most professional event teams I’ve worked with, which makes everything run smoothly.
